Invitation
You are invited to the experience of a lifetime. Live an earth centered lifestyle with a focus on restoration and peacekeeping. You are invited to step out of the trappings of the consumer based culture and move into a collective experience of cooperation, compassion, creativity, and more. By forming into eco-friendly networked Peace Hamlets we can cooperatively grow and distribute food, resources, services and more. Access to fresh, local, affordable food is imperative for an uncertain future. Present day expensive groceries are less tasty and nutritous. Access to housing and land at a fraction of the cost is most appealing.
Who are we?
We are people who are tired of fear and worry, greed and hate generated by the people who will
never have enough. We are tired of corporate greed at any price, pollution of water, air and soil,
destruction of ecosystems, political corruption and mass shootings.
We are people who believe that together we can make the changes that will lead us into a more
satisfying way to get along with each other and the ability to live lightly on the earth.
Acres of Peace offers the notion of forming a network of local, regional and national Peace Havens allowing us to practice peaceful social situations with our percieved family, living life in the way we think life could be lived, without the ‘ball and chain’ of a JOB and other hardships, leaving more time for good food and satisfying activities.
This is an invitation to explore the magnificent reality of being more human, less of a worker bee during our time on this magnificent planet of possibilities. Many of us feel like we have been born in captivity. Returning to a nature based focus allows us time and space to develop the many talents possible when our creativity and compassion are allowed to function freely. Life doesn’t have to be so hard, together we can empower the lifestyle that fits our style.
How is this possible? (the prospect of forming many communities)
We walk away from the crumbling culture of infinite growth. We do this with a group of other like
minded people from our own neighborhood. Basically we are co-creating a culture with values of
compassion, creativity, inclusiveness and transparency. Inner peace can extend to outer peace
when we are immersed in a culture that supports thriving while surviving.
● For less money than one single family home we can start a Peace Haven.
● There is plenty of land and money available to start many Peace Havens.
● Peace Havens can plan to have a passive income stream soon after starting.
We form into groups to support the development of peaceful communication and interactions. We learn to get along. We learn to play and work together as we plan, initiate and populate, first one and then many Peace Havens. We find other peace-niks and get busy building natural buildings, setting up and maintaining regenerative agricultural growing systems. We harvest, process and serve the food. Farm to table in our own backyard. Each Peace Haven may choose to operate a variety of ‘storefronts’ either public or private.
Agreeing collectively to shared morals and values allows us to band together into cohesive neighborhood clans and tribes. We pave the way using ancient and emerging frameworks for social stability and collaborative endeavors. For example, a time proven framework is the Peacemaker Way, (The Iroquois Great Law of Peace is a constitution. It provided the inspiration and basis for the American constitution). Other examples of tools and frameworks include collaborative decision making, practicing peaceful communication, removing communication barriers, enhancing crucial conversation tactics, improving listening skills, mindfulness for communication and conflict management, and fair share economics. We expect many more emerging methods of getting along peacefully.
Have a Peace Feast
A Peace Feast is the opportunity to gather people together to build the focus, intention and
reality of initiating these Peace Havens. Gather people together with local food, talent, crafts,
music and more. Create a fun festival with ingredients like classes, conversation, music, dance,
bonfire, crafts and services, to name a few. The Peace Feast allows us to immerse ourselves in
the culture we wish to create with other like minded folks while planning our prefered
communities.
What can we do?
Form local groups to support each other in promoting a more natural lifestyle. Find the people in your area who have talents and interests in this direction. Demonstrate the many ways folks around you are already practicing earth friendly skills. Learn about the many people and places around the globe that are already doing and moving in this direction.
Use the following Application to find the folks who are interested and motivated. Tailor the Application to reflect the nature of your local region. DIstribute the invitation and application and see what is available in our own neighborhood and local region.
Application
This is an example template for learning more about the people who want earth-friendly, peaceful communities. Each region may want to tailor the application to better reflect local interests.
Please let us know about you and your interest in collectively co-creating a better life for ourselves. Filling out the application is helpful, yet simply letting us know you are interested is a good way to get involved. (Give contact info for your local group.)
People who have land or know of land that might be perfect for a Peace Haven can fill in this portion. Where is the land located? Who can be contacted for further discussion?
People who don’t want to live in a Peace Haven any time soon, but would like to support the installation and operation of Peace Havens nearby can fill in this portion. (Contact info, volunteer? Donate?)
What special interests might Peace Havens offer to folks who live outside the Peace Haven? Local food production, distribution and preparation, meaning farm to table. Local services and goods, from barber to butcher to candlestick maker, many ‘things’ we need and want can be manufactured, prepared and delivered, all close to home. Note: folks who live outside the Peace Haven can visit, buy goods and services, have a meal, volunteer and even join a work crew for income generation.

Tell us about you:
Are you single or part of a group? Families (or family type groups) can apply as one
group entity.
Share why you're interested in living in a Peace Haven. This can be a written story of your life, interests and experiences, along with your dreams, goals and vision. If you would rather talk instead of write contact us directly.
Some people/families will want to be homesteading members who are full time residents and active in running the Peace Haven. The homesteading members take on more responsibility for running things in general and specifically managing the shared economic ventures.
___ Interested in being a homesteading mentor.
Some people/families will want to be value added members, meaning they are more like renting from a homesteading members and less involved in the running of the Peace Haven. For example, Uncle Pete wants to live in a tiny home near his niece who is a homesteader. He pays for the tiny home and pays his niece a monthly sum.
___ Interested in being a value added member.

This application can be tailored to meet your local needs and interests.
It is expected that we can utilize AI to help generate a better application, collect the results and help us process and select the right candidates for each Peace Haven.
We want to plan for a regional scale to decide where to place Peace Havens. We expect local leaders will step up to offer regional support to handle a variety of things as they arise, such as, arbitration as it may be needed within and between the communities. Also offering support with political and legal issues involved with certain aspects of the bigger picture. Other subjects include watershed management and restoration of compromised ecosystems.
Each Peace Haven will manage itself autonomously within the framework of the regional expectations.
