Think a Pandemic is bad? Let's not do Nuclear Winter!

We are experiencing a Global Pandemic. People are sick, industries are cutting corners and scraping by. We are in agreement that climate change is a real threat to Nuclear Power Plants that are not designed for the weather extremes that are presently plaguing the planet. Temperature are predicted to be extremely hot for summer of 2020.

We can do nothing and hope the inevitable accident doesn't occur any time soon.

Are we waiting for an accident to happen before we say enough already. SHUT 'EM DOWN!

Only a mass public outcry will allow us to turn off this fossilized industry that should have never happened. It has become an albatross around our neck.*

Safely Close All Nuclear Power Plants WORLD WIDE during pandemic

Plenty of Dead Planets....Let Earth Live!
We must turn off all nuclear power plants worldwide during this pandemic. Only immediate and massive PUBLIC OUTCRY can cause this to happen. The nuclear industry will not close down without public pressure that comes from all of us, me and you, making some noise, get 'er done.

We can absolutely close them down, shut them off, take a break, remove the fuel from nuclear reactors worldwide to avoid unthinkable disaster. They contribute less than 15% of our power production. We won't need all that while we are living through the effects of the COVID-19.

As we are experiencing a world wide pandemic it is important to stop operating all nuclear power plants worldwide. Turn them off, shut them down. Leaving them running while we are ill is a deadly business. If humans are too stupid or duped to protect ourselves, is it murder or suicide when the atmosphere on this beautiful planet goes away, rather quickly? It is murder by the people who could shut them down and do not. It is suicide for the people who know and do nothing. Dead planets don't care if it is murder or suicide.

It only takes one unconstrained disaster and the resulting 'plume' will destroy the atmosphere in short order. We're not talking nuclear winter for a while, then after a million years life goes on. We're talking about no life continuing on earth. Dead planet, no atmosphere, no people, no nothing but debris. When a nuclear reactor fails it must be contained somehow. Chernobyl has placed a giant dome over that accident.

It is imperative that we shut 'em down while there is a global pandemic underway.
